at my day job, i work mostly with C# for the backend and typescript on the frontend. at home i've taken a liking to rust and zig.

i've recently taken an interest in the fediverse, and was doing the admin/hosting of the canadian instance of lemmy.ca, but have passed that on to another group of people. i still check in on occasion, but not as frequently as i used to.

speaking of that group of people, they have started a non-profit called fedecan, which aims to expand the Canadian based fediverse. in addition to lemmy, they have recently added a new pixelfed server.
